The International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), established in 1980 and restructured in 1985, stands as a premier public institution dedicated to integrating modern education with Islamic principles, fostering intellectual growth, research, and ethical development for the Muslim Ummah and beyond. With separate campuses for male and female students in Sector H-10, Islamabad, IIUI comprises eleven faculties encompassing a wide array of disciplines: Faculty of Arabic, Faculty of Usuluddin (Islamic Studies), Faculty of Shariah & Law, Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Languages & Literature, International Institute of Islamic Economics, Faculty of Management Sciences, Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Faculty of Basic & Applied Sciences, Faculty of Computing, and Faculty of Education. These faculties house numerous departments offering over 100 undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs, supported by research institutes like the Islamic Research Institute and Shariah Academy, emphasizing innovation, diversity, and the reconstruction of human thought on Islamic foundations.
